What triggers "left the game"?

"What triggers "left the game"?"
Some one leaving the game, by disconnection.

I have had two games on my desktop PC where I was disconnected, once by a long power outage and once by a short internet outage. I was awarded a loss for the power outage disconnect. Fair enough. With the internet outage, which was just long enough to make me run out of time in a Rapid game, I was awarded a draw. I am not sure why. I thought it would be another loss. This position was still in the early opening and my opponent had just made a blunder which I had made the best or a good reply to and then my internet disconnected. Why did Lichess award me a draw? What rules does it follow for this situation? Maybe the opponent left the game too? There seem to be a few unknowns in this situation.

I received and answered a phone call while playing on my mobile, when I finished the call and came back to the game I still have seven minutes left, but the app says "[My color] has left the game..." So I'm wondering is it because the phone call was too long (4 minutes)? But if I was purely thinking for 4 minutes, would I trigger myself "left the game"?
well this is why you need to have a laptop so that way you don't leave the game if you play it on your phone duh one time that happened to me and I never realized it
