The Fred, 1.e4 f5, is pretty bad.
Anecdotally, there are people in the bullet pool who specialize in 1.f3 and 2.Kf2, and it can be psychologically difficult to face this, knowing you *should* be much better, but the opening doesn't immediately lose on the spot.
