Here's a post where someone claims they have no lag. There are 14 upvotes.

In reality everyone has lag, and everyone has lag compensation for that lag.

If someone is upset about lag there's a 99.9% chance they don't understand it, and how LiChess compensates for it.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. In general there's not much you can do to change lag, though some people find a VPN helps.
