This is a question that continuously teases me. Many people claim that I am lagging, and then they block me. I have asked this question many times, but I never seem to get the correct reply.
What is lagging? Can I control the amount of lag I have?

Lagging is when your internet is slow so Lichess adds back time that the server spent sending your request. People count this as cheating in faster time controls, as you're basically getting increment while they don't.

I can't do any of the two things. So, it is clear that my lag is not upto me. Shall I stop playing faster time controls?
