what is a positional repertoire for white with 1.e4?

I had good results by simply playing 1.e4 (...c5 | ...e5) 2.Cf3 (...a move) 3.g3, and despite that fact that i'm not an 1.e4 player.
It's quite solid, in general you can but don't need to get an advantage with white from the opening, an even position is OK if you're more familiar with and/or you undersand this position better than your opponent and/or you know which trade are in your favour and how to convert your middle-game advantage safely and easily...

It's a good idea to play only one opening for 6+ month to acquire enought understanding and experience.
