When they made the first kb extension, I didn't feel like it was unfair. It was just another way of inputting moves. The newer kb extension, however, has a feature called multi-premove which IS unfair. You are changing the way lichess works. Lichess doesn't take away 0.1 sec from your clock when you premove, so when you are given the option of multi-premoving you'll be ridiculously faster in endgames. Your opponent won't have the option of multi-premoving.
I wasn't against the extension when it was first released, now I'm not a huge of fan of it.
I don't think lichess can track down players using the kb extension, so I'm not sure how they are going to ban it. Howsoever, I try avoiding kb players.
