Lichess can we have two move chess?

It's so disappointing to often see new hopeful variant suggestions that will only be denied.

I don’t want boring two move chess, but there is a similar Variation, which is much more interesting.
White starts by making one move. Then black is allowed to make two, white plays three times etc.
When you give check, your rest move can not be done.
To Checkmate the King, it is enough to control the six squares around it.
If it’s not Mate, the king can go through check too.
What do you think about it?
I think it will be unfair for black since that white has the advantage

That's called Progressive Chess, and there are three variants: Italian, English and Scottish.

But yes we do need new variants.

You "need" new variants? What happens if you don't get them?

What about doing the work yourself? Lichess source is free, you can implement whatever variant yourself, and submit a pull request. If rejected you can start your own clone of Lichess (you won't be the first).

Or is the need no longer a need if it means having to do work yourself?
