Hello folks this is my first forums post sorry if im doing something wrong but i just played against this guy (username is Ingrid-vengeance) who is supposedly rated:
- 2749 in ultrabullet with 5k rated games played, but a rating deviation of 69
(context, #1 in leaderboards is rated 2703)
- 3122 in horde with 17k rated games played, rating deviation 77
(context, #1 in horde is 2761)
- 2638 in crazyhouse with 1k rated games played, rating deviation 107
(context, #5 in crazyhouse is 2615)
Now theres a couple weird things about this, the fact that i beat him 5 times in a row with relative ease in hyperbullet despite only being rated 1800 myself, how despite his very high amount of games played he still has a very high deviation, and also how hes not in any of the leaderboards, i think right now he fails the "hasnt played rated in the past week" rule but if you check his rating history you can see he's CONSISTENTLY been going above #1, i feel like someone of this supposed caliber would be at least somewhat known in the community, does anyone know who this is? Are there more people like this guy who have insane ratings but dont show up on the leaderboards?

idk how you checked this but well even then isnt 1500 games more than enough to have a pretty low rating deviation normally?

Ingrid has abused the rating system by mostly playing players rated much lower than her, which violates the Lichess TOS.
Thus, she is banned from the Lichess leaderboards.

Yeah idk about these "people" youre talking about since as i said this is my first time using the lichess forums ever but i didnt try searching for it because i didnt think it would be such a common question to ask about the rating of this random person i encountered while playing. Sorry you had to go through the immense pain of seeing the same question for the 6th time in 3 years lol.
Besides, my final question still remains in this case, are there many more people like this person where their rating is very high but they dont show up on the leaderboards for one reason or another? Is there a leaderboard of highest rated players that arent banned for cheating? Any examples you (or others in the community) know of?

I just checked the TOS and i see no mention of "mostly playing against lower rated players", maybe i missed it, could you quote it please?
