Why's aren't we using komodo? Didn't it kick stockfishes A?
Stockfish is free and open source, Komodo isn't.
notfast101, actually, the kicking of the ass was comparatively marginal, considering they played 100 games it won by a kind of a small margin 53.5 - 46.5. It seems that Komodo better scales than Stockfish, so when you have 24 processors/threads, 64GB RAM for hash and hours of time, Komodo 9.3 will have an edge. However, Stockfish kicked Komodo's 9.2 ass at 40 min + 4 sec with 4 threads 53-47 and beats Komodo 9.3 even more with 52.5-33.5
