Just wanted to add a congratulations on hitting a new peak rapid rating, and crossing the 1900 barrier. Hope the puzzle practicing helps, and putting the work in to raise your puzzle storm runs.

Well, the puzzles are already layed out for you to solve.

When playing, they dont just appear for you to solve. You kinda have to set them up yourself.

So, when you see a pin, pin the piece. When the opponent protects it with a major piece, skewer it. Once you have enough layers of complexity, usually a tactical situation is created for you to solve.

If you are good with tactics, you can more or less see the pattern before its there actually there in the board, and you can calculate how to make it happen. Then you need to make active plays to force it, then pull the trigger.
