I have been playing chees for 2 years and a half and already at 2100 can I become a GM?

@TheBestPlayerITW

To answer your question, no, you are not rated 2100, no you will never become a GM. Thats not your way.

You seem to be interested in coding, keep developing these skills. read code, write code, publish code. Thats your way.

i have iq of 138 which is 2 short of being classed as genius and im shit at chess. iq has very little to do with chess ability as i understand but maybe the kids not lying never know...
i am 14 and have a ELO of 1549,but can still beat 1700s and do draw against 2000.
Could i have a chance to get a ttitle?i play 2 hours per day
@Slouw if you would like me to fax you my rating credentials I can. coding is cool but you cant earn as much to have nice holidays et cetera.
@TheBestPlayerITW #16 Actually programmers are usually well paid. It is a job where expertise counts and such jobs are better paid than working in a factory. It is difficult to even have a stable income with chess. Coders are needed by industry, chess players not. Thats how it is.
