I need advice to improve my mindset or is it impossible
what i think is you are waiting for other ppl to hold your hand to do the work that is needed, no one is forcing you to do this or that, only you can make those choices

Sometimes while playing otb I ask myself why am I doing this. Whats the point of it all.
If you don't enjoy it, there is no point really. There are some people who do not enjoy chess and still play, because they want to zone out of reality or have nothing else to do, and that's also legitimate. But you do not really create things of value in chess (outside of the pleasure of playing), that's just a plain fact. So maybe you should accept your sense of alienation with the game as the valid insight that it actually is, rather than trying to fight it and "get the motivation back "

Why are you shoving plastic pieces around a little board? Pure egotism, no benefit to society. Why not do something that provides the thrill and financial benefit, like playing the crypto market?

Have you looked into other strategy games, like the Chinese game called go? It is a different animal and I hear it is much harder than chess.

I dont play chess for fun like I said I play because it is known popularly by the world and so it is the biggest thing I have in my life. GO would probably give 0 respect and probably means nothing for the world
