I can give you 20 types of mistakes, though:

  4. the mouse slip mistake
  5. the-on-purpose-mistake
  6. the subtle mistake
  7. the final mistake
  8. the difficult-to-refute-mistake
  9. the mistake that turned out to be a brilliant move
  10. the doing-twice-the-same-mistake in a consecutive game
  11. the re-blunder mistake of the opponent
  12. the against chess-rules-mistake (moving the knight only one square diagonaly)
  13. the beginner's mistake
  14. trying to pass 2000 rating mistake
  15. playing the wrong opponent mistake
  16. the notation mistake
  17. opening mistake

Munich's mistakes are funny, but not what I meant.

More like those below. Add to each line "missed" and then double the lines: one time for things that I could have done to the opponent and missed. And one time for moves that the opponent could have done to me but I missed the danger.

Knight fork
Queen fork
Bishop fork
Rook fork
Pawn fork
Q skewer
B skewer
R skewer
Decoy
Mate in one
Mate in two
Mate in 3
Problem with pinned piece
Put a piece somewehre where the opponent just could take it
Removed a guard of an attacked piece, so that opp just could take it
Opponent attacked a piece, but nothing was done about it, so that opp just could take it
Removed a piece that blocked the attack to another piece, so that opp just could that other piece
Put a piece in between another piece and its guard, so that opp just could that other piece
Trapped piece
Pawn promotion tactic
Attack to king overestimated
Attack to king underestimated
Killing the defender
Expulsion of defender
Zwischenzug
Endgame error
Counter attack
Discovery attack
Complicated tactic
