I'm just curious about the percentage of Lichess members who use it, because apparently it's the world's largest online chess site, but I think this one is actually better. "Chess.com" has quite a few flaws, and I encountered some really annoying people there too. Plus they've taken a "firm stand" on a political issue, which is something that, to me, is a real turn-off. I hope this is the right place to ask this question, because I'm relatively new here and this is my very first question.
Lichess took a firm stand on this issue when war broke out in Ukraine. They didn't ban flags from the site but they made it very clear then what their stand was.

I have a chess.com account but mostly use Lichess. I make a point of reminding chess.com users that Lichess exists and for most features is better than chess.com (imo). (For me the main advantages are: the study feature, the players database, better analysis features). Two things lichess might consider doing differently:
(i) Allow speed run accounts for established streamers.
I think Lichess are missing a trick here and have handed chess.com a monopoly for no reason. I know Lichess high command has considered this issue, but whatever the extra admin of managing a few speedrun accounts, it has to be well worth the free advertising.
(ii) Options for more brightly coloured UI. Personally I prefer the current lichess UI, but on chess.com I often see comments about how users play on chess.com because they find Lichess's UI drab and dull. I think adding a few more options is an easy way to win more users.

I started on Lichess because I have a brain. I tried chess.con for an afternoon, I didn't get it. It was like trifle , very slow and stodgy and I didn't understand the interface , and after having started on Lichess , I was like, why would anyone play here , its awful! more money than sense and I closed my account and never tried it again .xxx

Give me your name (on chess.com)

the average 1500 elo chess.com players are sometimes equal to 1700 elo lichess players, which is why some of lichess users sometimes play on chess.com to face more stronger opponents (my theory btw)

This makes no sense. Sure, the ratings are different.
But you play against opponents that have a similar rating to you. You don't pick players with the same number (1500 on both).

yes, but still its very weird when there is a match between both of 1600 elo rated players, and lichess just decides to give 30 elo points for the one who wins
the meaning is the actual perfomance of an average lichess player, is not the same as the elo he has
maybe chess.com average players has this problem too
but from what i seen for 2 years on lichess, this is kinda truth idk
