Sadly this happens! I've noticed some higher ranked players do not like it when you can push their rating down. They assume you cheat. I see many people complain about chess.com or lichess.org because of alleged cheaters.

I never really block people even though I hate when people don't rematch, because I hope to run into them again. I like to play the tough games.
