How many also play on chess.com?

I was wondering how many of you also play on chess.com? Is this a different pool of players or largely the same people on a different site?

I have not played a rated game on chess.com for 6 months but I still visit the site regularly

Many people play both, but you can tell it's a very different pool when you look at the rating distribution graphs.

where would I find these?

where would I find these?

I only recently visited chess.com because of the controversy and spam threads here. I played four-player chess and duck chess. Duck chess gets stale, and four-player chess is fun but the players I go up against are 900s so yea

Heard it before, but is it really true? Why would that be the case?

I used to play on chess.com. Closed my account there 8 months ago.

What can I say " chess speak for itself "

What can I say " chess speak for itself "

When I first got into online chess I played over there because that was what I stumbled on first.

But as soon as I became aware of lichess, there was no contest, and I landed here. I haven't played over there since, and I never will again.

I believe that lichess is superior in every way. The interface is cleaner. The overall minimalist design is beautiful. The non-commercial model, in an era of über-capitalism, is pretty much unique, and is something to be treasured (don't take it for granted kids). It's open source. It's free, if that's what you want. Best site on the web, let alone chess.

@hisokaxhunter How on earth do you know (arrive at your conclusion) that C.C players are better at positional chess than Lichess players and Lichess players are better tacticians that those playing at C.C?

I do play on both sites, but mostly here, 99% here, where there are no ads etc etc etc but I doubt that my tactical chess is any better here than on C.C or my positional chess is any better on C.C than here.

Ive no idea whether Im a tactical player or a positional player. I just move the pieces about until I (occasionally) win or (most often) lose. I put this down to missing tactics and being caught out in bad positions. I do try and not repeat these obvious and very very very annoying traits. :-)

Is there another site I can play on where all the players are hopeless at positional and tactical chess so I have a better chance of winning? Thanks
