How good are you in chess out of 10 compared to a GM? DO you want to improve?

@Ihavenothing #8 Actually a 1920 player vs. a 2400 player has about 0.1 in 10 chances of winning. It's about 0.06 in 10 chances of winning vs. a 2500 player.

side point- Why don’t you play some games with people of similar ratings.Almost all of your opponents are below 1500 and either resigns under 20 moves or do not make a move at all.Playing with stronger opponents might give you a more representative rating so you can find students of the right level.Good luck!

Here's a tip, folks: if you really do want to improve, don't turn to somebody who leads off with an idiot question right in the thread title.

Sometimes I draw or win against them (albeit rare), so I am 0.5/1 or 1/1 against them occasionally.

Oh yeah, and how good am I compared to a GM (on a 1-10 scale)? With any luck at all, I might rate a 1. ;)

I mostly play to a postion and I don't seee the write moves and I lose. So its 1 to 10

I second #22 #23 man up and stop farming noobs in your team before trying to get any students.Your rating is kinda inflated.....
