I can't really tell. I picked up chess again after different year long stints of being into it and for some reason I feel more adept, but I don't trust it. Many times I feel like an idiot. I wish our local chess club was open because I'd like to sit over a board at a real tournament.

I bet I'm like many of you that have his/her CPU out while other distractions like TV or family members are around. Some days I can take ten L's in a row from really weak opponents, some days I can beat what I consider to be really good players.

It seems on lichess that there are many more players rated over 2000 blitz and rapid. I don't think I'm going to pass that level, but I can beat folks in the 1900, I really don't know what that means in FIDE. I think I may have a FIDE if they keep them from 32 years ago when I was in high school, if so, it is not very impressive.

From an outside perspective--- above average. My 1779 rating puts me in the top 25% of lichess players. But to anyone who is actually good at chess I am laughably weak. So it all depends on your perspective.

I'm pretty bad, but I don't really care: I enjoy playing, and it's a nice way to escape reality while also having fun, so I stick at it while I can
