How do you react when you blunder?

Do you swear? Slam the mouse? Throw a chair? Strangle the nearest living thing? Strangling a gold fish is difficult, believe me. I tend to say “Awww frick my bum” with varying degrees of intensity depending on my mood. How about you all?

It's great that you're raising this important topic here on the forum ... because until now it's been taboo.

In the last few years I have already destroyed a lot of things in my home furnishings. But at some point it got very expensive and there was a lot of trouble with the family and the neighbors. For some time I have therefore limited myself to the mouse, which has to suffer a lot from me. - And the salesman from my technology shop is always happy when he sees me at least once a week.

I don't swear, but you seriously shouldn't talk to me the entire day if so
And if I was in a winning position I can break not only the mouse but the PC

Pudding throwing? Goldfish strangulation? Brilliant stuff! Thanks for giving me inspiration :p
I’m very boring, every time I make a blunder I just scowl at my screen.

It’s important to let it out. It’s unhealthy to keep it all bottled up inside you. Like a good poop, you’ll feel so much better afterwards.

Unless you're not on the throne when you're doing it.

a) I park the mistake/ blunder in the PAST in a parking lot where I can retrieve it later. (Some people hang their mistake/ blunder on a clothesline or tree but I am too macho for that?!)

b) I move to the PRESENT and totally ignore the recent past, calm myself.

c) Focus ion the FUTURE. I embrace the role of fierce, cool defender. Show me.
That is the theory anyway! But I do like the 'throw pudding at the wall approach' of @rookitiki

A True Story:
One time I played a KID as Black with lots of good tactical play but just when I was ready to do a checkmate - I gave my blinking queen for free - immediately resigned in disgust. I ran the Lichess game analysis and noticed that the score graphic somehow showed me as winning in the final position. Stupid LiChess bug!?! grr
I went to another room and mindlessly watched tv for about 10 minutes.
Then a flash - oh crud - I went back to the game and sure enough despite losing my queen I still had mate in a few moves. Never doubt LiChess evals!
