If you have not already departed for the tournament then I advise binging relevant episodes of the Queens Gambit and overconsume on legumes and lentils to build and release flatulence to distract your opponents. This tactic is famously recognized as the Magnum Carlsen Special and should only be utilized in endgames.

rest well, and come prepared with some snacks and drinks for when you experience a low. Its just as important as being prepared with chess prep.

Leave early to get to the tournament. Bring lots of water or gatorade or whatever you prefer. Show up early and use the bathroom. You'll probably need to use the bathroom a few times if you are nervous. Then find a quiet spot and just look at simple tactics in a tactics book. Usually there will be a person there selling chess books if you didnt bring a tactics book. Your main focus should be relaxation. Chess is hard enough, let alone trying to play chess if you're all anxious. Move slow. Double check your moves. Double check for Captures, Checks, Threats and Pawn Breaks. What you dont want to do is have 45 minutes still on your clock and hang a piece to a simple tactic that you would have seen if you hadn't rushed.

I think you have received good suggestions already. I think #3 is particularly important. I’d consider doing 3-5 easy puzzles right before the first game to sharpen your tactical awareness. Make sure that the puzzles are easy enough, otherwise you may get exhausted. I would take a brief look into your opening reportoire too, making sure any holes are covered. If you have lots of holes, focus on the ones you think are most likely to be exposed. Best regards mediocre tournament player
