Draw by insufficient material

Hi, I was surprised when losing a game which I thought I managed to draw because of insufficient material. Am I missing something here, or is this correct and did Black really win on time?

The game ended with White out of time, with two pawns agains a lone bishop. So if I managed to let Black take my pawns, the game would have been a draw, but now that I still have pawns, Black is victorious?

Yes because there is a posibility where your opponents bishop and king could checkmate your king if it ever gets stuck within the pawns. Even though this is very unlikely, it could happen.

There are a hundred ways to checkmate. Use your fantasy!

Oh wow :-D Yes, that makes sense, thanks! I was thinking that, at worst, I could get blocked behind my pawns and get stalemated ... Thanks for the example to prove me wrong!

Not necessarily in the corner or using under-promotion.

White: Kh6, Pawns h5, g6
Black: Kh8 and a stab in the back like Bc1#
