I got this message from lichess, and I didn't quite understand it. That's why I created this topic.
"Accusing other players of using computer assistance or otherwise cheating is not acceptable on Lichess. If you are confident that a player is cheating, use the report button on their profile page to report them to the moderators.
Please note that repeated violation of this policy will result in loss of communication privileges."
I think, this is the answer to your question. I don't understand why you are asking random forum users after you have got an official statement from lichess.

Maybe because this message seemed not quite clear to me?)
And I also hope that there are not only random players here.

Don't write to the player you think is cheating. Lichess doesn't like that. Just submit a report. It make take them a few days to look at the evidence. I once reported someone and it took them 5 days to ban them.

Getting more people to report someone will not make any bit of difference.
Are you sure?

I don't think someone with a 1900 lichess rating has the expertise to decide whether someone is cheating or not except the suspected cheater plays computer moves only but not all cheaters do.

If I had something to say of value to you I would say Just Play study Study Play & don't worry about "cheats" . I glanced at your games & see yes when just about anybody wins a game the centipawn loss is low ,,, One must remember if someone is playing on down a piece or two or a couple of passed pawns on the 6th 7th & then asking questions about well you won or lost & why the centipawn loss was low' then just think' about not overthinking situations , Lichess does find an occasional cheater however people believing they are being cheated alot & wanting to "demostrate "how" is way too much thinking about this & NOT THINKING about the REAL ISSUES OF GETTING BETTER AT CHESS or JUST ENJOYING LICHESS ! @SvyatFromTheFarEast Please don't want to see TOS violation after your handle ... Let's just play study study play Chess & Leave Lichess to find "ThaT" occasional cheat

Please don't make the mistake i made a couple of times: don't suspect someone of cheating as long as you don't have proof.
Our ratings are similiar and i get your post!
1.) First check your own games - as long as you aren't a very good player your accuracy will deviate a lot. Sometimes i play a few games with a very high accuracy, because i played an opening i know well or my opponent made a big mistake at the beginning which sometimes results in high accuracies.
2.) If you check other players games don't fall into the trap "he had bad accuracy in the last couple of games and just against me he had 9x". A couple of games are not a big enough sample size.
3.) Believe that the majority of the players don't cheat. Someone is cheating against you? Well you still can learn something out of the game because you made a mistake somewhere.
4.) Treat an online rating what it is - an online rating! an OTB rating are the major leagues ;)
Best regards!

"Do I have the right to write to these players, send them an analysis of their own game and ask them to send a report?"
no as lichess does not give people rights
It only allows or does not allow thing son its website
now can you dm people about it no
because more reports will not change ban speed as mods will look at it the same if its 1 or 100 reports and its not even given higher priority
now also it is public shamming as you telling the public or other people hey this guy cheated in your game
as you are doing the same as a form post in a dif way
also what you are doing is witch hunting
report once and forget remember if you think someone cheats report but that does not mean they do cheat

The question is not "was this the best computer move" or even "how much worse is this move than the best computer move". That tells you very little, and will only catch obvious cheats - applying to non-obvious cases would yield many false positives, and this is why both chess sites suck at this (despite CC's "MILLION DOLLAR" cheat detection).
The real questions are "how hard was this move to find?", "how logical is it?", and above all "have other players with similar intrinsic strength as compared to this player found similar moves?". (ie. is the player who is constantly blundering pieces in the opening really going to find that subtle defense in the endgame requiring evaluating positions eight or more moves ahead with wide game trees consistently? Compare to how "average centipawn loss" automated methods deal with that situation...)
And you take that pattern over dozens of games or more, and do some statistics, and find which of those statistics vary for cheating vs. non-cheating players, and get a pretty good signal and a confidence interval.... no one is currently doing these things on the online sites though. They've gotten into it at the highest levels of tournament play recently, but it's controversial.

Do they give you back the points you have lost against the cheating account once it is banned? Cause that would seem fair.
