Contributing to the Cloud

I have a Najdorf Sicilian opening line analyzed to depth 42, how do I add this to the cloud?

@Aceno0b , but if I don't get a fishnet key, I can't contribute? My PC has decent specs and I can run to depth 40 in half an hour to an hour; I really want to be able to.

I don't see Lichess refusing anyone a fishnet key - you're offering to donate PCU time, as much or as little as you choose - but yes, you do need the key to access the cloud as far as I know. I've analysed to depth 40 many times, and it was never uploaded to the cloud.

@Aceno0b The video only shows you how to analyze games lichess, not openings/positions. How would you use the key to attempt to upload openings to the cloud?

As I understand it, if you have the key any new analysis which you produce (ie new in terms of the higher depth) will be automatically added. But I am no expert. Perhaps others know more

You mean if I have the key, and then load up a non-cloud opening and run Stockfish to a high depth, I have a chance to get that added in the cloud?

As far as I understand the system, yes. Your Stockfish analysis can definitely be added to the cloud, and the way to achieve that is by obtaining a key from Lichess.

Oh so you have to obtain a key first before your analyses get requested to the cloud, thanks for the help!
