There are various chess apps in the app store and play store but there is one I dont like, which is the "Play magnus" chess app.
I really hate it because it can allow anyone to cheat on lichess. For example age 10, age 15, and so on...they simulate human moves and how will lichess identify. The moves are not better than the computer but is very likely that a human will lose to the app and guess what? Lichess wont ban the account because it was not cheating. Human moves were played.
Check the app, its on app store and play store, it is possible to cheat with it
And anyone would cheat with it

If people are looking to cheat, it'll take more than taking down a phone app to stop them. Regardless, if you cheat at chess you're ultimately just cheating yourself.
Eventually they'll get caught anyway, it's just a matter of time.

Why do you believe that this app plays human moves? It's not so easy to simulate a human. Probably, leela is closer to human style than Play Magnus, isn't it? Don't believe everything the commercials tell you.
Any patterns will be detected - sooner or later. Do you think an A.I. cannot distinguish between a „human“ app and a human?
No worries.
Play Magnus is just another chess app. The only thing special about it is that it carries Magnus name and brand.
