These cheating stuff are so weird tbh
I just checked the profile of one of my opponents and saw that he just played with someone who then got the red "This account violated the Lichess Terms of Service" thingy .... so, my opponent's opponent got marked as a cheater (it's about an hour ago) fresh stuff!
So, I wanted to "investigate" and started to look into his games .... and ok, he got 200 rapid points in the last day, and he had few games with 95%+ accuracy and 0 mistakes .... but in all of those games his opponents made big mistakes.
And I would not even assume that he was cheating based on that ...
I dropped almost 300 rapid points in one day due to hyper tilt, so theoretically I should be able to regain 200 in 1 day, if I try hard and play all day with full strength, it's possible.
Also, I had a zero-mistakes and 95%+ accuracy games several times, simply because opponents blundered in such a way that I don't even know how to get less than 95% accuracy!
So my point is: it's becoming even scary to play good and take advantage of the free queen gift from the opponent, because now you know the ACPL will be low like Magnus and accuracy will be 99% interesting like Kramnik, and you could get accused of cheating!
And the story about dropping 300 in one day due to tilt, and being able to regain 200 in 1 day, I'm not joking, It happened to me, and I'm sure I can gain 200 in 1 day if tryharding it, but I also know that the system will decide that I'm cheating ... so I don't tryhard it.
And in general, I think people exaggerate the amount of cheaters. I have never "felt" that an opponent of mine cheated against me (Like really NEVER), and NEVER reported anyone. But 2 or 3 times I got the message from Lichess about the points cashback because I played some cheaters .... but only 2 or 3 times out of 1600 rated games.
People need to be fair and recognize that the vast majority of "my opponent is a cheater" reports are simply a: "I lost, and I am so sad about it" ones.
Anyway, just practiced my English here. Don't mind me.
