cheating detection

YACP sigh Okay @Munich , lets see what we've got here...

I checked your latest 25 rapig games with high accuracy (for example 94% or higher) - this is what I found:

You won (94% accuracy, 0 errors, 0 blunders):

Draw (both players with 94% accuracy)

You Won (97% accuracy, 0 errors, 0 blunders)

So, 3 out of 25 matches with no errors/blunders on your side and also ZERO wins for your opponents with a 94% (or higher) accuracy.

Am I wrong, or are YOU the one that should be accused of cheating (according to your metrics), banned and blocked?
Of course no, but neither are your opponents.

This is now the time for your "NO, YOU ARE WRONG! - FOR ME IT's A DIFFERENT STORY"-reply, as always in those threads...

Good luck on your lifelong chess journey!

The man you write about is one of the best players I met here. He also helps other players to play better. He thinks more deeply about turns, than I could imagine before I met him. He is one of the best club players in his club, he did unbelievable masses of puzzles over the years. He is not a cheater, he is genius. I forgot: He is a heartful person and gives takebacks to help to better turns (mb not to everybody).

These cheating stuff are so weird tbh
I just checked the profile of one of my opponents and saw that he just played with someone who then got the red "This account violated the Lichess Terms of Service" thingy .... so, my opponent's opponent got marked as a cheater (it's about an hour ago) fresh stuff!
So, I wanted to "investigate" and started to look into his games .... and ok, he got 200 rapid points in the last day, and he had few games with 95%+ accuracy and 0 mistakes .... but in all of those games his opponents made big mistakes.
And I would not even assume that he was cheating based on that ...

I dropped almost 300 rapid points in one day due to hyper tilt, so theoretically I should be able to regain 200 in 1 day, if I try hard and play all day with full strength, it's possible.
Also, I had a zero-mistakes and 95%+ accuracy games several times, simply because opponents blundered in such a way that I don't even know how to get less than 95% accuracy!

So my point is: it's becoming even scary to play good and take advantage of the free queen gift from the opponent, because now you know the ACPL will be low like Magnus and accuracy will be 99% interesting like Kramnik, and you could get accused of cheating!

And the story about dropping 300 in one day due to tilt, and being able to regain 200 in 1 day, I'm not joking, It happened to me, and I'm sure I can gain 200 in 1 day if tryharding it, but I also know that the system will decide that I'm cheating ... so I don't tryhard it.

And in general, I think people exaggerate the amount of cheaters. I have never "felt" that an opponent of mine cheated against me (Like really NEVER), and NEVER reported anyone. But 2 or 3 times I got the message from Lichess about the points cashback because I played some cheaters .... but only 2 or 3 times out of 1600 rated games.

People need to be fair and recognize that the vast majority of "my opponent is a cheater" reports are simply a: "I lost, and I am so sad about it" ones.

Anyway, just practiced my English here. Don't mind me.

there are obvious ones, PM me if you like to see. You will be convinced if you see this. Strange it never happened to you.
But maybe thats because true cheaters have soon a high rating, which is out of your usual range. For me, in the 2200 there they accumulate, and I guess at 2400 or so, the system checks them automatically. This is possible, as there are only so few who are above 2400 (or wherever the threshold rating is)

There are sometimes players, who think they are 2000, but they are not. The lose the first game against me, then rematch, get help with the engine, and get back to the rating they think they "disserve".
But such players are difficult to catch, as most of the time they dont cheat, and only when they drop below their "true" rating, they resort to the occasional cheat.

in the 1300 range such attitude is maybe mostly absent.
