I'm sure this statement is superfluous given the amount of negative reactions down the posts of ColonelMusgrave but just to clarify:
The notion that deep statistical analyses are conducted over many games to catch minute fluctuations within a range of secret metrics known only to the Lichess elite is an absurd lie. Nobody does this. They never have.
This is absolutely false and as a matter of fact, Lichess, being an open source platform, has published two of its main automatic programs for cheat detection, the well known https://github.com/clarkerubber/irwin and the most recent https://github.com/lichess-org/kaladin.
Because this would take a team of computer engineers and analysts that would rival most tech companies in silicon valley. Nobody is doing this -- certainly not with a team of unpaid volunteers.
Exactly because most of the people working for Lichess are volunteers, they have a life, a job (some are students) and a professional career outside Lichess.
You don't need to be a Da Vinci to realize this and you don't need to be an Einstein to imagine that the team managing the infrastructure and the development of the site is a team of people specialized in computer science, software engineering and similar fields.
