Cheat detection

cheaters shouldn't be banned, but closely monitored to train anti-cheat bots and AI learning

also, you can't catch them all

is there any software online that I can use to confirm my suspicions of having played a cheat? something I can pass a pgn to and it could give percentage chance of cheating going on.

This is everything that you need to know about cheat detection.

This is what you are looking for. I have succesfully reported many after analysing their games using pgn spy,
I have had at least half a dozwn banned in the last few weeks. I play 10 5 games and am rated around 2300 on lichess rapid, I find a significant number of my opponents are suspicious. PGN spy generally proves or disproves it

You could be right, but it is a guess. Chess.con have released no auditable info about their system, whereas others have shown their methods to be based on actual sound mathematics and advanced computer science. Chess.con have a financial agenda to position themselves as the de facto authority on cheating, and they are trying to do it in a way in which they cannot be scrutinised.

And any way, Lichess is better.Just you can't buy shares in it.
yeah this site is way better then Chess.com cause you have to have a subscription like come on can't it be free for everyone.

Personally I prefer open-source software but there's also nothing wrong with premium services if you feel they're worth it.

I like both sites and switch between them every few months.

I like Lichess for being OS with many features available to all, like the simple UI. However Chess.com also has more accessible features for new players when it comes to something like lesson, more bots to pick from and a better app.

Some features on Lichess are also a bit harder to find so lots of people miss them.
