Can someone log the one lichess account from two devices at the same time ?

Dear Sir / Madam,

These days in Sri Lanka soo many club tournaments are organized through lichess platform. Organizers asked to share the screen and keep it on the laptop cam through zoom while playing. But I have a little dought. So I have a small question to clarify.
Can someone log the one lichess account from two devices at the same time and then how to catch it? If people can do this two people can log in to the same account from two devices and they fight together with another player. Then it is unethical for a tournament. Therefore before participating my small daughter in a club tournament organized through lichess platform I really want to clarify this matter. Because three months back I saw one coach and player log the same account at the same time using two devices and both play against the other player. No way to catch it?

Please reply to me.

Thank you

This is very common these days, Even I reported players who do this. The only way to catch them is to look at the moves they make and their rating. For an example a 1000 rated player can defeat a GM, But who knows whether it's true or not. To easily report them follow the instructions given below 1.LOOK AT THE MOVES THEY MAKE (IS IT RECOMMENDED BY THE STRONG ENGINES) 2. CALCULATE THEIR MOVE TIMES. 3. CHECK THEIR WIN RATE 4. Last but no the least CHECK WHETHER THE ACCOUNT I NEW OR NOT.

Thank you so much for asking this question because when people use engines, I feel bored playing chess!!

Yes, I've done it many times.

You can definitely have two devices hooked to the same account both looking at the same game.

Often if my opponent is not making a move in a normal amount of time, I'll bring up the game on my phone and walk away from my computer.

Or if I'm wondering if my computer's internet is working fine, I'll bring up the game on a mobile device.

@Neluka1984 yes. I'm almost always logged in through my Phone and Laptop computer at the same time. I'm using Lichess via the single account on whichever device I feel like using at a time.

Right now I'm typing this at my Laptop, taking a mini break from work. In the night time I'm using my phone lying on the bed.

@DrNike logged in through multiple devices does not mean someone is cheating

I am an extremely careful person insert Capitalization
I avoid everything That I can EVEN If I have literally 1% suspicion

I hope you don't mind the grammatical mistakes or you are just a guy who wants to disagree with me

Yeah, why not!? You can even switch while playing a game.

Dear Sir / Madam,

...they fight together with another player...
This sounds more like a huge disadvantage. Streamers play sometimes as a group (hand-and-brain, or moving alternately), but they do not become better than the weaker of the both.
Shared screen and laptop cam is a very high anti cheating standard. If people manage to cheat despite of this, then they also manage to cheat over the board.
