I hear what you are asking and have struggled through a similar thought which is: "How do I get an at level sparring partner for students that doesn't blow up and quit or rage like humans sometimes do?" You should try getting her into a game against Maia1 or Maia9 unrated. The bot is trained to behave like the players here on lichess, and often makes pretty big mistakes.

If you sit with her while she is playing vs Maia1, but don't interfere with the game.. you should be able to pick up on a lot of the stuff you need to push her forward in ability. It sounds like your coaching style is to stop the game a lot mid flow to interject some teacherly wisdom. I'd encourage you to move yourself forward there too :). It is not professional chess coaching just friendly from a pretty low rated player - me
Hence us wanting joint access to a chess engine playing at a slightly higher level than us for when we not sure where from here during play

It is on my list to look at Maiai your post will push it a bit higher

These kinds of posts prove the points I have been making in other posts. Everyone hates to lose in Chess. Guess what? You're going to lose games, you will have a trash rating, you will not be admired or loved in the chess community. You will not date the Botez sisters. Get over it. Go learn the game and get better. You don't need engines to blunder check you while you play another person who is not doing that and is playing in their head. Learn how to blunder check yourself, so you won't need to rely on engines to help you play. Ultimately you want to win, but you need to pay the cost to be the boss. Nothing is easy, nothing is free.
