It's sad that a lot of the great chess players had to withdraw because of Coronavirus. I hope this virus goes away before the Chess World Cup in 2022 so everyone who wants to participate can do so without any risks

@PurePremiumPenguin yeah, it's sad that we cant see some of them playing :( but I hope they recover as soon as possible! I'll pray for their health.

I do wonder why facial covering isn't just straight up required. Seems like the only sensible thing to do when you've got such a large gathering of people from all over the globe when there's an ongoing pandemic. Also the virus doesn't care about your rights and freedoms.
