I hope Aronian and the others are OK. It seems that FIDE is in denial about the pandemic still - this tournament is ridiculous. Coming to Caruana in the middle of the game with news his opponent has Covid?? Absurd level of disorganisation.
They need to take cues from responsible industries and use strict and proper safety protocols, or DON'T HAVE A TOURNAMENT at all....
If so many people withdraw, what is the point anyway?
