For both improve my visualization skill and easily read the books, I decided to start working on blindfold chess. But there's a problem: I dunno where to start. So where should I begin? Any tips for improvement on blindfold chess?

Play the white pieces, that is easier to visualise.
Play an opponent that is neither too strong, nor too weak. If your opponent makes illegal moves, then it becomes a mess if you have to correct him blindfolded.
This site offers an interesting possibility. Make a new account say delta48blindfold. Now adjust the settings to blindfold. Now seek games at a rating well below your normal rating and select to play white. Here you go and no illegal moves.

My recommendations as I am interested in achieving the same thing. I have been having slow and steady progress.
- Do visualization courses. There are some books and some fun courses on Chessable for instance which can help with this tremendously.
- Get a friend to help play with you. Have them play on an analysis or study board while you cannot see it; instead, you will look at a blank board. This is a good stepping stone for future attempts to visualize both the pieces and the board.

@nooboss apparently it's allowed if it's not for illegal purposes like sandbagging or trolling etc

On the contrary, playing blindfold on the main account would be considered as sandbagging.

Try to play some simple endgames like KQ-K.
Or other programs allow one side blindfolded like only Black pieces.

@delta48 Look at Thibault's comment :)
@nooboss I asked this topic yesterday and answers were it wouldn't cause any problems if you will not use it for illegal activities

It depends on your age. If you are a kid you can try to learn blindfold chess. Later it will be very tough and the only way to study books will be playing all the moves on a chess board.
