#19 ‘why’? - because he invest so much time+ effort in making those videos. He deserves way more viewers...A lot of other titled players only make videos on ‘quick wins’, ‘how to trick your opponent’ etc which is not helpful for beginners at all since chess improvement requires patience and dedication. Opening tricks are just for fun...only watching those vids would hinder people’s progress.

I'm another fan of Andras' stuff.
Speaking of people who don't advertise their stuff that much, Levy Rozman aka GothamChess is not one of those people, but if his hustle doesn't annoy you too much, some of his content is excellent, and pitched a bit lower than Andras. The Chess Tips videos are really good, and the Ten Minute Openings are good if you want enough basic ideas and plans to start playing an opening halfway sensibly without any risk of going down a rabbit hole of memorization.
Caleb Denby's stuff for St Louis Chess Club is also good: The Road to 2000 and the Endgame Class.

Back on topic - I find that I get some good stuff from My System, but I do sometimes feel like I'm having to winkle it out a bit and I don't find the way that it's organized particularly intuitive. I'm also approaching it having learnt the very basics of strategy kind-of by osmosis - if I'd come at it without that I'd be a lot more confused. If I was starting again from scratch (and at some point I might decide that I'm starting again from scratch anyway) I'd consider looking at more recent books to cover the fundamentals and then go back to My System to see whether it can add anything on top of that.

None of the more recent strategy books are recommended by grandmasters in #8.
An IM was preparing to play the Olympiad for his country's team when "My System" was reprinted and he got a copy. His reaction: "Wow, it is like if I am 200 elo stronger after reading this"
There are more recent strategy books, but the good ones are not accesible to less skilled players and the accessible ones are not good.

Old myths die hard. Today Nimzowitsch would not sell more than a couple of copies.

It is a nice read for various reasons but in order to get better there are a thousand better ones. As simple as that.
Everyone is entitled to try it out. Good luck with your career!
