Am I supposed to trust that my opponent in not using some sort of engine?

Is anything in place to prevent someone from just using an engine every game or just suddenly turning one on in the event of a losing position?

If you are wondering whether someone might have cheated against you, the first thing you should do is request a computer analysis.

Additionally, please do not call people's attitudes "piss poor".
