Why would anybody cause a game to be aborted before a move is even made?
These players are cowards, w*nkers, wasting their own time and mine, should be banned instantly for rest of the week.
Maybe they got a phone call, maybe they have a sudden need to use the bathroom. It could be a number of possible reasons.

No, I mean misclicking on a game.
It's normal that people volontarily abort a game for emergency reasons (wanna go to the toilet, didn't meant to start a game or mom's calling you to do the shopping instead of her...). But letting the time to start a game running out or aborting too many games can be very annoying and is an impolite behavior to just let the time run out without playing the first move.
I think its the chess equivalent of showing up for a boxing match, and refusing to come out of your corner when the bell sounds for round one.
Sometimes Captain Doo Doo comes calling and when he comes calling one must answer immediately or suffer the consequences.

Maybe they saw your user name and recognized an abusive person?
Really there's no reason to start a forum post calling people cowards and wankers.
I should think this kind of language could set you up for more of a ban than not starting a game once in a while.
