7 Day Tactics Challenge: Day 2 (Intermediate)
A 7 day tactics challenge that gets harder each day! Now featuring leaderboard, hints, and more!Introduction
Update: Day 3 of the Challenge is now out!
Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of the 7 day tactics challenge. As you can see, the difficulty is slowly ramping up. And as always, all of these puzzles are taken from my own games.
As a reminder, for each puzzle, you can score points using the following system:
You have 3 strikes per puzzle. Get as far in the puzzle as you can before making 3 mistakes, and then check the solution. Add up your points up to the last move you solved.
For example, if you make it through 2 moves that each give 2 points, and then make your 3rd mistake, then you'll get 4 total points for the puzzle.
After you've solved all 3 puzzles, add up all your points together, then check the section at the end of this post to see how you did!
NEW ADDITION: Puzzles now feature hints! If you get a move wrong, click on a hint so you don't waste all your strikes on one move.
Puzzle 1: Critical Point
Puzzle 2: Counterstrike
Puzzle 3: Crossfire
Ranking
Maximum points: 18
0 to 3 points: Newbie. These puzzles might be a little difficult, but that's fine!
4 to 7 points: Beginner. These puzzles are a little bit above your level, but you're getting there!
8 to 12 points: Intermediate. These puzzles are right around your level!
13+ points: Advanced or higher. These puzzles were easy for you! If you want to see how strong you really are, try solving some of the harder tactics to come in the next few days!
New Feature: Leaderboard!
Are you proud of your score? Now you can share it with the world. Starting from Day 3, I will include a leaderboard at the end of each post that counts all the points you've scored up to that day. Anyone can get in, no matter their score!
Simply add your day 1 score and day 2 score, and share it in the study chat if you want to get on the leaderboard! Good luck!
