Call to test speech synthesis

Speech synthesis is now available in your language. I am curious to know if it works well for you

Reminder:

  • Set Lichess language in your language
  • Below language, there is a sound menu, click and choose Speech...
  • Click on Speech... to choose a voice (you may have to make them available to your system or your browser)
  • Replay a game, try puzzles

I know that 'Game start' and 'puzzle success' are not translated yet ...

What about the rest, how does it sound ?

To the top right of your screen, you should see your username if you are logged in or a cogwheel if you are not.

Click on that and you should see language submenu

Thanks fredo599 for answering fast,

i only can find it, if i am logged out, not if i am logged in. It guided me to another platform where they want me to register and using password to get in. Excuse me not doing that.

Wish You nice sunday, Yours sincerly graugruen

Oh it just occurs to me that this part is translated.

So if you are already in German:

  • click on Ton (sound)
  • click on Speech...
A German voice should say 'Speech Synthesis ready'
Then go to a page with a chess board you should hear something
