Hello again, users of the LiChess Tools extension!
Today I published version 2.4.126 - yeah, I know, the version number is getting ridiculous, I just can't seem to move my ass to revamp the entire thing. Anyway, this version is implementing the request of @DrTomHere, or at least what I could make of it, which took a lot of effort, but in the end went rather well. I even learned some new things while doing it.
You have to enable it from Layout for game analysis:
And the result should be something like this:
In other news, Lichess is removing the Followers API. In response, I've created a system that stores followers from the Activity API in your local device. It will thus show who followed you based on how often you visit Lichess. If you skip a week you will not get all the followers there. Also, the list starts from the moment you update to v2.4.125 and use it, so it will not be comprehensive. But at least it will be fast and not against what Lichess would prefer. Apparently there has been a craze of weird people gaming the system for followers and that's why they are so adamant to not have this system in place.
As of now, the old API is used, but it that one fails - as it will next Lichess deploy - then the new one should take over. Fingers crossed :D
Obviously, if you clear the cache or use another device the list will differ.
Bottom line: two new rather experimental features, but pretty useful. Please test them to your leisure and let me know what to fix.
