At times, the clock keeps running even when the opponent resigns, or it doesn't that the game ended on mate. Also, at times I notice that I can't premove (most annoying in bullet games) because the page thinks I haven't played the first move yet. I have confirmed that this is not a lichess issue, and only happens with Lichess Tools enabled (automatically updated) and only recently too.
I have heard of this happening to people, sporadically, but I couldn't reproduce it. It would be a great help to all, @LibreChessChicken , if you could isolate the specific setting that causes that.
Look into the Play category first.
What browser and operating system are you using?

well, it only started happening VERY recently, so not sure why it's happening, because I didn't change anything like my os, browser, or extension settings very recently

Maybe because the extension was reinstalled automatically. I've published a few versions the last few days.
