Suggestion: A feature to play moves that transpose into a line already within your study.

Hello! I don't know if this is possible, however it is something that I have been struggling with since I can remember. Currently, if a player makes a move which deviates from your study/intended line, the ideas may completely change. However, there is usually a way or a sequence of moves that will eventually end up back at the intended line (just in a different move order). It would be really cool if there was a feature that could highlight moves on both sides within the move rate table that lead to an exact transposition (or similar transposition) to an already existing line.

Thank you for all your hard work and for reading this!

@dakk26 , LiChess Tools already highlights transpositions, the same position reached by different move orders, but they have to already be part of the current PGN. There are plans to implement a companion app that you install on your computer and it takes care of local databases, kind of like Chessbase, and it might conceivably find the current position in other chapters or other studies even. But that's not going to happen soon.
