TLDR: Here are some images of how I think rearranging the post game layout would be much better. Preventing anything from falling off the bottom of the page, appear as hidden to user that aren't aware more content is below the board. Basically, make the site feel more like an application.

I made a reddit post on this a couple months ago, which is a couple months before I came across this extension. I'll post the link to the post, but a quick summary is that I think the post game screen layout could really be improved. Quite possibly everyone is playing on very big monitors and so they don't hit this, but... After a game completes and you click "Analysis Board" I end up presented with the move list on the right, the spectator chat on the left, and off the bottom of the screen the "request computer analysis" button. I scroll down to click the button, wait for the thing to compute, then look at the graph and report. Then scroll back up to look at the board and moves. Then scroll back down to click "Learn from your mistakes". Then scroll up... You get it. :)
I think it would be great if the post game screen required no scrolling no matter your screen size. Everything should fit within the visible area of the browser. Use the dynamic layout to fit everything inside the available space and require no more. If making the board huge doesn't leave enough space for the list of moves, don't allow it to be that big.
Here's my longer explanation of the problem and my proposed solution. Keeping it all on one screen would feel more like an "app" and less like a "webpage".

I understand your need, @DrTomHere . Others have expressed similar views. I will see what I can do with your images, which I appreciate. Most people just request a vague solution to the problem.
Thanks!
P.S. You know you can make the board smaller and then the review chart is in screen, right?

Hey, hope you can make it work. Or something similar.
But yea, I know I can make the board smaller and that is probably what people do with their desktops. I play 90 of the time on a laptop and making the board smaller is less than ideal. I'd have two options. (1) Adjust the board smaller after each game and then return it to full height for each game. Workable, but really shouldn't be necessary. I'm also a bit of a consistency freak and with each resize the board would be a bit different size and that's yuck. (2) Make the board small enough to view the analysis graph and then play with it that size. This isn't preferred as I am older and like the bigger board to make it all easier to see. It's just more comfortable and I personally think if they make the board resizable then I should be able to make it the size I want.

The issue for it is here: https://github.com/Siderite/lichessTools/issues/1400
I am having some problems with your requirements, @DrTomHere :
- Where does Explorer go in this scenario
- Why cram everything on the right side when the left side has spectator chat and notes, that are rarely used
- What about Crosstable and Share&Export?
I like the idea overall. So let's recap the elements:
- request analysis button
- analysis chart
- analysis summary (sans Learn from your mistakes button and puzzle suggestions)
- Learn from your mistakes button
- puzzle suggestions
- Learn from your mistakes info panel
- Move time chart
- Crosstable
- Share&Export section
- Explorer
- Analysis hamburger menu
- Game info panel
- Spectator room
- Game notes
- the Practice info panel
- the board :)
As I understand it, your idea is to:
- place the tabs container under the board on the right side
- put there as tabs: chart, analysis summary, move times, crosstable
- put the buttons for analysis and learn from mistakes button/panel and puzzle panel on the right, under the chat/spectator room
- put the puzzle recommendations under the board
- maybe put the share section under that
- should Explorer be moved to the left, in the spectator/notes tabs? or just a tab on the right? I feel like people want to see the move list and explorer at the same time. Moving it to the left makes sense to me.
This will be kind of tough to do on the client correctly, but maybe I can recommend these changes to Lichess. And if not, I will see what can be done. But let's think this through.

It seems to me that most of the free real estate is on the left side of the board, Maybe you could create a tab that hides the chat but reveals the elements that we want to implement such as a miniature game review graph with accuracy results, learn from your mistakes button etc.. You might have to leave some of the other elements like Move Times, Cross table, and Share & Export where they are under the board for now.

Cross table can easily fit next to the player names at the top left, like in my graphic. Share and Export could be replaced with a normal "share" icon along the bottom where next move, previous move, etc are, also in my graphic. I'm not sure what you mean by "Explorer". Is that what you get when you click the "book" icon and it shows the masters data base? Yeah, I forgot about that thing. Good point. I'm cool with the stuff I moved onto the bottom right being on the bottom left. I think I just put it there since that is where the moves are which you would already be looking at, and probably just because I think that is where chesscom has it so maybe unconsciously thought it went there.
If you put it on the left you can add a new tab "Review" next to Spectator and Notes. After you click "request computer analysis" it would auto switch to that tab and have the graph and your move scores all visible in that giant space.
So, in brief.
- New tab called "Review" after spectator and notes.
- Put "request computer analysis button on the bottom of the bottom of that left panel (see image)
- After analysis is requested
a. Fill the move score, the graph, and move times into the Review tab. Possibly one above the other instead of in tabs.
b. Auto switch to the Review tab automatically to show the results.
c. Replace the "request review" button with the "learn from your mistakes" button. (see image)
- Move the puzzle recommendation to just below the board in the center.
- Add a new "Share" icon at the bottom of the right panel next to the explorer button. (see image)
- This replaces the need for the tab mixed in with the eval, move times, etc.
- Put the crosstable next to the player names. (see image)
- The replaces the need for the tab mixed in with the eval, move times, etc.
Obviously, some of this is just "move it away from below the board into that space on the left" and the art/graphic design of how it is laid out would be some experimentation on your end. Have fun with it. :) I do think in general that having it all visible all the time without scrolling will really make it feel better, like an app, instead of a webpage.

I so prefer webpages, though :D

Ha. Yeah, editing webpages is sooo much easier than working with an app, multiple platforms, windows resolution scaling, etc etc. Very true.

Implemented in v2.4.126 - you have to enable it from Layout for game analysis.
