With the steel sword in the right hand, I crawl counter clockwise around the truck and horizontally slice at the monkeys head with the sword
Its head flies off, exploding right before it hits the ground.

"Aaron and Austin chose well, I must say."

You could go over to the Volcano, and begin hosting Racaflax's spirit.
Also, read the storytelling bit, because it's very important to the storyline.
