If not, which ones not and why?
If not, how will you know which is which?
yes because bots is all bots not just specific bots
There was a suggestion from various players to only allow (or count for the team points afterwards) 1 Stockfish bot per team, as otherwise it might not be fun to see them competing with them, so the question came up to allow only original bots.
I understand why you would want such a rule, but it doesn't matter when the rule cannot be enforced.
It's like requiring that players wear pink socks. You have no way of knowing if they actually do, because lichess cannot look at people's socks.
Similarly, lichess cannot look at the engine that a bot is using.

hello i think there should be a bot for each team wich are gonna start at the average rating of their team
and the team leaders of the team should have access to.

How about also using the cheat detection mechanism that is used against players be used against the bots to disallow bots that use sf? There might be a better way, but this was the only thing I could think of
We won't spend cheat detection resources on bot games. It's the entire point of having bot accounts.

Only makes sense. Bot's are like an extra feature to the site. We all get the ability to test Bot and beat them or lose and find out which ones are best.

It is obviously very hard to detect Stockfish bots, or non-original engines in general. But even though anyone can run Stockfish, only real engine developers are capable of optimizing an engine towards a shifting goal. So rather than making rules and banning Stockfish bots, I hope we can decide on some ways to incentivize original engine developers and human players.
