Anybody who follows the AWC can now predict the results of the top 16, and compare their predictions against others!
Go to challonge.com/2025awc and click "Create a prediction", and don't forget to add your lichess name to the prediction title. I'll publish the name of the prediction winner at the end of the tournament.
Predictions will close tomorrow (October 7) at 18UTC.

I dare someone to make ChatGPT do a prediction:
I tried and got first round done but then was busy so couldn't finish...
All you need to provide is the challonge link, player profiles list (E.g. Jesse10 - https://lichess.org/@/Jesse10 ) and then the profile/perf/atomic (E.g. https://lichess.org/@/Jesse10/perf/atomic ), as well as the tournament format (double elimination) and game length (10 games, 3+1 rated atomic, 5.5 points is decisive and the tiebreaker rules as listed in the rules.
It will need some prodding along the way but interesting to see it’s prediction.
Here’s notable things it said for R1:
Thuban beats MSH
Opa beats jake
Natso wins v Jude at like 52-48 (seems close)
seaside defeats Re at something like 51-49...
If anyone does it, plz send me your prediction, I’d love to see how things turn out!

Yes, I'll only close the predictions once the first match is played, which got rescheduled to tomorrow.

Atomic World Championship #4: How Poetic

@Natso is getting stronger against every player he faces. As if that gives his next opponents a false perception, I like it.

@Natso 's run is over once we play in the next round, I will make sure of that. >:)

The idea that the literal current AWC champion can be underestimated is funny to me! People should look less at the ratings
