I'm considering giving up chess

there should be some kind of reward for winning.... just like bing does for browsing with them.... after you get so many reward points you could go to the lichess reward points store and cash them in for a 3D chess piece or something ..... that would add a little excitement to the game .....

1700 it is not a bad rating. Depends on age. I believe everyone can improve, if healthy. And daily. The literature of Chess is the biggest of any games/ sport they say.
