The videos are totally irrelevant with the points about the pay gap, they are more about canceling peterson and other guys in general. Can you present some evidence that pay gap exists cause of misogyny and not because of other factors or not? That comes down to personal choice and not only that there is still a significant difference with average amount of hours worked per week for people with no children regardless of marital status. There's nothing wrong with personal choice.

Seems fair sven, some odd comments here.
Although then again I think there are a higher-than normal socially-challenged people that play chess, and some (not all or the majority) of the comments the original poster received might be (more charitably) considered to be stemming from this than misogyny.
(edit) - oops I was replying to an earlier comment. People seem to be getting very overheated here about culture wars, when really this is just the experience of one woman (or girl) who wants to publish her experience. Personally I look forward to the time when men and women are equally expected to look after children and the like - in the old days there was a good reason for the division of labour due to manual work, wars and more, these days not so much.
i don't know exactly who I'm playing most of the time unless i know them in person, but when I do play online, whether its a boy or girl, everyone plays just as well. And if you feel like this is happening, just report it or stand up for yourself and the others by publicizing the problem and bringing awareness. Great job @QueenRosieMary !
Why was this post unlocked? It was locked yesterday.
My wife plays on this site. There was an incident a few weeks ago in an arena where a user made several over the top sexual comments about her. We both reported this user, and I received a notification that "somebody you reported has been banned" within a minute or so. I then found myself paired against this same opponent in another arena a week later, which makes me wonder whether the notification I received was accurate and whether Lichess is conflating "sanctioning" and "banning".
More generally speaking, simply trying to keep offending users off the site is a fool's errand. I agree with the blog post here that what's more important is setting a culture where such things do not go unchallenged.
One possible solution appears to be to just remove chat and forum posting.
