In a completely losing opening, this player, who is a GM I won't name, asked for a draw. This was a simultaneous exhibition with few players, so I immediately declined and asked why I was being asked to draw. I didn't get an answer and they were adamant that I drew the game. Out of respect as I imagined that they must have had to leave or something, I offered and they accepted. The simultaneous exhibition continued, and I was left confused. I asked multiple times for an explanation, and after minutes, they finally said (and I qoute) "emnites, I was losing a bishop on e2. are you serious you still didn't get it? lol" Here, they admit to wanting a draw soley because they were losing. They would have lost absolutely nothing had they played the game out, and I likely would have gained the right to say I beat a freaking gm. So I ask to you all, what should I do? Should I reach out to them, should I report them, or just let it go? Also, it's important to note that this player is a community leader. This was no random GM, and that is why their actions are so especiallly abhorrent in my eyes. Thank you.

Do or do not. There is no try.
YODA:D
OK Yoda
I think its cool you don't mention Drvitman's name.
That's a very good guess, what makes you assume that's our man/woman? I guess it's easy to find out but thanks, I prefer not to start witch hunts.
Honour and sportmanship are things NOT every russian school-boy knows. :)
Yeah I will admit, the fact that this person may or may not be a Russian wasn't exactly shocking to me following their actions in our game.
@emniteshomilon Such behavior is NOT acceptable for anybody, let alone a top GM. Report it and let the moderators decide what needs ot be done.
@kaissa44 I thought as much, and have filed a report. Thank you for taking the time to actually say something of substance, this has helped me be sure I made the right choice.
