When there are still moves then why Stalemate?

When there are still moves then why Stalemate?. I know how to chess and i know what stalemate is. Stalemate is when there are no moves left for the player. Weather its opponent or it is me. But when there are moves still left he can move his beads then why stalemate.

stalemate means there are no moves... if there are moves then it isn't stalemate, lol. What else to say? Show us the example where this isn't the case
