If a verified titled player wants to play anonymously - I have no problem with this. Unverified/untitled players in the best of lists need to be addressed.
We know that this account is not anonymous https://lichess.org/@/A-Liang - we know that they are a titled GM - so why does lichess not show it as such?
Whatever is written does not matter nothing will be done to address the real problems that exist.

I think as long as they want to hide their names, they should be free to do so. I think the exciting chess moves strong players bring to the board far outweighs the excitement of knowing who the players playing the games are.
I don't want to know their names, I just want to win them 😃
