Puzzles me why you even look at it then? I never even read single post there. Mere glimpse to subject is quite enough to know it is not worth your time

By this logic, Lichess should allow insults in titles because a "mere glimpse to subject is quite enough to know it is not worth your time". In fact, if you've never read a post in the off-topic forum, why would "you even look at" this topic talking about the off-topic forum?
Brainrot topics degrade the value and purpose of the off-topic forum by talking about subjects that nobody cares about and aren't worth talking about whatsoever.

I should have reworded my statement. It frankly does not matter that a significant number of people care for them, since that significant number is likely made up of children under 10 years old, and it provides no value to the forum whatsoever.
I was thinking of heading over there to propose that the American revolutionary war was, in retrospect, a terrible mistake. I suspect that only the experts in Off-Topic can assess the viability of returning to colonial status within the British empire (assuming we could afford the back taxes).
